How Can We Help You?

Are you in need of prayer, counseling, or practical help with life's issues?
Please call the City Church office (801-748-4757) and ask to speak to a Pastor.  We'd love to help you. Our office hours are Tue. - Fri. 9am to 5pm.
Our pastors and "Cares" team are here to be an encouragement and to stand with you in times of need. If we can uphold you in prayer or support you in anyway, please contact the church office.

Prayer Support
Pastors and our prayer team are available to pray for people during the week - you can do this by phone, email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ), or in person. You can also submit a prayer request at the information table on Sunday mornings.  (The prayer request card can be found in our weekly bulletin)  Your request will be immediately placed on our prayer list.

Hospital and Home Visitation
Pastors and others in our 'Cares' team are available to visit people in their homes during their time of need and to visit the sick in the hospital to offer prayer, support and encouragement.  Please call the church office to let us know how we can help.

Funerals
We can help families prepare for funerals--providing care and support for all who are grieving.  We can also host funeral services in our church building.  Call the church office for more details.

Divorce
Dealing with divorce can be a very painful and difficult time. At City Church we want to help you walk this journey and offer counseling to help you move forward into healing and hope.  Pastoral Counseling is available for kids ages 5-18, as well as for the adults involved. (also see marriage and relationships)

Marriage & Relationships
We believe in strong, healthy relationships - whether it's marriage, friendships, or family.  We want to help facilitate great relationships in your life.  Whether you need support in your marriage, with your kids, or amongst your friends and co-workers, we would love to assist you in any way we can.

Healing
We believe that God can heal the sick.  The Bible says in James 5:14-15...

"Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up."

During our Sunday morning services, we will have a time when you can be anointed with oil, and then we'll agree together in faith that God will heal the sick and move in a great and mighty way in your life.  This is open to all who need a healing from God.

How To Volunteer For 'City Church Cares'

Whatever else the church is called to be, it is most certainly called to be Jesus’ expression of love and compassion to the world. Providing care in a time of need is not an option, but an opportunity, because sometimes we are the only glimpse of Jesus some people will ever see.

Do you want to help someone in need?

Do you feel like you could give more than you presently are?

Have you ever wondered what it would feel like
to change someone’s life for the better?

You are most like Christ when you give!
