Connect Groups are designed to connect people and provide a place for community and spiritual growth.

We encourage you to join a Connect Group that fits your interest, passion, age, location, or schedule. There are three different types of Connect Groups: Huddles, Interest Groups, and Next Steps.

HUDDLES will provide a place for you to build Godly friendships to help keep God central in your life. Huddles will meet on a regular basis, and there will be 6-12 people in each Huddle. They will meet in homes, restaurants,  coffee shops, parks, etc.  Some Huddles will be focused on a particular age group, while others might be targeted to a specific location.  There are Huddles for men, women, and married couples.  (For churchgoers that have enjoyed ‘Small Groups’ in previous churches, you will feel right at home in a Huddle!)

INTEREST GROUPS connect people through groups based on an interest or hobby. These groups are all about building friendships and having fun while doing the things you love to do!

NEXT STEPS are classes and groups that help people mature in their spiritual life and increase their Biblical knowledge. No matter where you are at in your walk with Christ, we encourage you to always be growing and learning.  The classes and groups available in Next Steps will help you grow and take the next steps in your Christian life.

Once you have found a group that might work for you, or if you are interested in LEADING a group, please visit the Connect counter in the City Church lobby.

If you don’t find a group that fits you yet, remember that there will be more groups starting very soon! We want to help you get connected, so if you have any questions, please contact Pastor Josh (josh@citychurchutah.com) or call the church office (801-748-4757).

Keep in mind that this is just the beginning! There will be more Huddles starting over the next few months. If you can’t find a Huddle for you yet, please fill out the Connect Card and explain what kind of Huddle you are looking for.  Also, each Huddle has a maximum number of people that can attend, but if your desired Huddle is full, we will help you find a similar one.  We want to help you get connected!
