Rise and Build 2011 PDF Print E-mail
As we look back on the last four years, we can’t help but be humbled and amazed at what God has done in the life of our young church.  We have always said that this is just the beginning of what He wants to accomplish through all of us at City Church.  We have already had a huge impact in our city and across the valley, but there is more to be done and more people to be reached for Christ!

God has blessed us with an incredible facility for a young church, and we are making the most of what we have.  With our weekly Catalyst service on Wednesday nights, The Venue young adult service on Friday nights, our THREE weekend services (with plans for more!), and the many Bible studies and activities that happen each week, we are wearing this place out and quickly running out of space!

As of October 2011, we have 30 months remaining on our lease of this great facility.  We are asking you to partner with us for these next twelve months, as we step into our first year of Rise and Build! The plan is to pay off the remaining lease payments on this facility by this time next year, which will allow us the following 18 months to prepare for the next steps that God has for His church!

It is time for all of us to rise up and step into the extraordinary future that God has planned for City Church!  Our greatest days are ahead!

We love you,

Pastor Chad and Amanda

Testimonies

"In the Spring of 2011, I walked into City Church. The minute the band began to worship, the tears flowed. City Church was an answer to months of prayer and God led me straight to it."

"My life and my family's life have become fuller and richer since we found the Lord. Everything is just better and brighter with the Lord. We can't wait to see what is in store for tomorrow."

"I was introduced to City Church in a way that I am sure was the work of God. We have asked for years for a place to worship in a way that felt right. The first time I walked into City Church I felt welcome, now after only 6 months of attending, I feel at home."

"I used to be a person that said, “I don’t need religion. I don’t need a church to know that I am spiritual.” I was wrong. I was blind. That was only a short 5 months ago. My journey with City Church began in October 2010. I was suffering, I was ashamed, I was dead inside. Then one Sunday morning I laid in bed and thought, “This is the day" ....

When I first walked into the chapel, the worship team was singing “Amazing Grace.” Tears began streaming down my face. I finally felt like I was home. Home with God. I welcomed Him back into my life that day."
